SIX Group Services Ltd. is seeking an Application DevOps Engineer in Zürich, with hybrid work up to 40% from home. You will drive automated deployments, GitOps-based delivery, and infrastructure-as-code across cloud and on‑prem environments, collaborating with development teams to ensure low-latency, secure operations at scale.

The role emphasizes incident response, monitoring, and continuous improvement of deployment workflows, with on-call responsibilities and a strong focus on reliability.

Competenze

• Strong DevOps mindset across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Scripting skills in Python and shell; practical GitLab CI/CD experience.
• Experience with Ansible and infrastructure-as-code is highly valued.
• Solid Linux foundations and networking basics.
• Hands-on with production systems and container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
• Clear communication to tech and non-technical audiences.
• Troubleshooting across applications, Linux/Windows, networks, TLS, and containers.
• Fluency in English; German and/or Spanish is a plus.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment workflows with Ansible and GitLab CI/CD.
• Define and improve monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and runbooks for stability.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, PowerShell, Bash; handle XML/JSON as needed.
• Operate and support monitoring and job schedulers (Prometheus, Grafana, Airflow).
• Own production services through deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and recovery.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production systems and incident response.
• Lead or contribute to post-incident reviews to drive reliability improvements.
