SIX Group Ltd in Zurich is seeking an Application DevOps Engineer to shape reliable, high-performing platforms in a modern DevOps environment. You will drive automated deployments, GitOps-based delivery, and IaC across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will work with development teams to ensure stable, low-latency operations while continuously improving deployment workflows, monitoring, and platform resilience. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

Formación

• Experience across the software delivery lifecycle and operating production systems.
• Scripting skills in Python and shell; GitLab CI/CD experience.
• Ansible and infrastructure-as-code experience is valued.
• Solid Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on with containerized platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk).
• Clear communication and ability to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
• English fluency; German/Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment workflows using Ansible and GitLab CI/CD.
• Define and improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks for reliability.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and handle XML/JSON as needed.
• Operate and support monitoring and scheduling platforms such as Patrol, Elastic, Grafana, and Airflow.
• Take ownership of production services across their lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
• Participate in regular on-call rotation and incident response.
• Lead or contribute to post-incident reviews and learning-driven improvements.
