Job summary

Eugen Seitz AG, doing business as SeitzValve, seeks a Design Engineer to design and develop high-pressure valves and related components in a full-time role based in Wetzikon. You will create 3D models and technical drawings, ensure performance and safety compliance, and collaborate with R&D, Production, and Quality to translate customer needs into manufacturable products.

The position offers strong engineering challenges with opportunities to contribute to international projects and ongoing

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with practical experience in Design Engineering and Machine Design.
• Experience with pressure-containing components, fluid systems, or valve technology is an advantage.
• Familiarity with standards, tolerance and strength calculations, and basic simulation/FEA tools.
• Ability to communicate in a multidisciplinary environment and manage projects from concept to implementation.
• Good command of English; German language skills are an asset at the Wetzikon location.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of high-pressure valves and related components.
• Create and optimize mechanical designs.
• Development of 3D models and technical drawings.
• Ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Close collaboration with R&D, Production, and Quality.
• Translating customer and market requirements into manufacturable products.
• Participation in design and project meetings.
• Assistance with prototype construction and validation testing.
• Continuous improvement of existing products and solutions.
• Documentation of design work in accordance with internal standards.
• Assistance with technical clarifications and failure analyses.
