Job summary

Eugen Seitz AG - seitzvalve is seeking an Application Engineer (m/w/d) to act as the bridge between customers and development, shaping valve solutions for PET applications. You’ll translate requirements into technical concepts and lead cross-functional projects in an international setting.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver high-precision valve technology, leveraging your engineering background and strong language skills in German and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or systems engineering required.
• Several years of experience in product development (ideally >5 years).
• Experience with technically challenging products in an industrial setting.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Enjoy direct customer contact and international collaboration; fluent German and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and shape design concepts in close collaboration with customers.
• Own the technical specifications for valve solutions.
• Collaborate on complex development projects in an international environment.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customer inquiries and new applications.
• Initiate and drive new product developments in PET and blow molding contexts.
• Build expertise in valve technology and work with internal and external partners.
