Zusammenfassung

NEURA Robotics is scaling its real-time embedded Linux capability across its robot platforms. You will own the OS, kernel, and board-support layer that every control stack relies on, collaborating with hardware, simulation, and safety teams to ensure deterministic performance and a controlled lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on Yocto/OpenEmbedded, real-time Linux tuning, WCET analysis, and strong C/C++ at the kernel/driver boundary, including device tree authoring and scripting.

Qualifikationen

• Embedded Linux BSP engineering background with hands-on Yocto/OpenEmbedded on production hardware.
• Hands-on real-time Linux kernel patching and tuning, with scheduling reasoning (SCHED_FIFO/RR, priorities, affinity, interrupt path).
• Experience with WCET analysis methodologies and tooling (e.g. OTAWA, Chronos).
• Strong C/C++ at kernel/driver boundary; device tree authoring; scripting for workflows.

Aufgaben

• Own the OS, kernel, and board-support layer across robot platforms (cobots, mobile manipulators, humanoids, quadrupeds).
• Collaborate with RT Bus engineer, hardware, simulation, and safety stakeholders to ensure determinism and controlled lifecycle.
• Build, flash, test, and automate validation; maintain engineering documentation.
