Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Design Engineer for the Global Product Care team in the Transformers unit. You will develop and design innovative products and systems meeting customer needs and industry standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams worldwide to ensure specifications are met.

With a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years in R&D or high-voltage engineering, you will verify performance against IEC/IEEE/ISO/ASTM standards, conduct FEA using ANSYS, and contribute to

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of R&D or engineering experience in HV equipment or components.
• Solid mechanical knowledge, especially in electrical insulators or HV components.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Experience with finite element analysis using ANSYS.

Aufgaben

• Establish mechanical simulation models for transformer components and perform static/dynamic analyses.
• Verify mechanical performance per IEC, IEEE, GB and other standards and issue reports.
• Develop internal tools for mechanical evaluation and support global factory troubleshooting.
• Ensure design compliance with external/internal regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with supply chain to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead design reviews, implement modifications, and mentor junior colleagues.
• Act as subject matter expert and share knowledge to foster innovation.
