Zusammenfassung

Miraex is seeking an intern to join our team in Ecublens, VD, Switzerland, focusing on design, theory of operation, and development of applications for quantum electro-optic integrated photonic devices. You will model devices and work on problems at the intersection of theory and experiment, mentored by a seasoned team.

This 6–12 month internship offers 80–100% activity, on-site work, and exposure to practical product development within a fast-growing quantum tech company.

Qualifikationen

  • Experience in a research environment.
  • Basic knowledge of quantum optics, optical systems, and electrical circuits.
  • Prior work on theory coupled to experiment, or in quantum optics or device theory.
  • Computational thinking and automation in Python or other scientific programming languages.
  • Communication and documentation in English.

Aufgaben

  • Modeling of electro-optic devices at component and system level.
  • Develop ideas, models, and calculations describing device applications in quantum sensing, networking, and computing.
  • Collaborate in a small horizontal R&D team and contribute to hands-on development of applied products.
  • Contribute to documentation and reporting of research findings.
