Qualifikationen

• Requires Master’s in Physics, Engineering, or related field; PhD a plus.
• 3+ years in experimental physics or related field.
• Strong hands-on experimental or engineering background.
• Proven experience testing/characterizing optical or photonic systems.

Aufgaben

• Lead development of advanced testing strategies for SNSPD devices with focus on scalability and throughput.
• Rethink and optimize characterization methodologies, incl. wafer-level testing.
• Develop and operate optical and cryogenic measurement setups for device characterization.
• Analyze datasets to guide device design and process improvements; study performance variability across devices.
• Collaborate with fabrication, packaging, and system teams to ensure test compatibility with manufacturing flows.
• Document methodologies, results and best practices in a structured, transferable way.
