ETH Zurich's TIQI group is seeking a Software/Embedded Systems Engineer to develop software and firmware for quantum control systems, spanning embedded hardware and Python‑based control software. You will work on networked lab control, FPGA gateware, and mixed signal PID loops in a fast‑moving research setting.

Candidates should have strong embedded C/C++, Python expertise, and experience with FPGA design tools; collaboration with physicists and engineers is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Masters in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or closely related field.
• Excellent English communication skills; German knowledge favorable but not required.
• Recent ETH Zurich/EPFL graduates encouraged to apply.

• Develop, maintain and debug software across embedded and higher level control systems.
• Shape the architecture of the experimental control system and prioritize work.
• Help end users and contribute to documentation, examples and training materials.
