Zurich Instruments AG is seeking a Team Leader Systems Software to drive the data path with CPU/GPU integration for next‑gen quantum instruments. You will lead a small expert team and report to the VP R&D, shaping backend and server software architecture while collaborating with product management and agile teams.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 3+ years of team leadership, strong C++ skills, and knowledge of networking, with CUDA/Python/Rust as nice-to-have capabilities.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years leading a software engineering team with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Broad C++ experience in a professional environment.
• Familiarity with networking protocols and interfacing with firmware or hardware.
• Experience with CUDA, Python, or Rust (nice to have).
• Exposure to high-performance computing, RDMA/RoCE, or low-latency systems (nice to have).
