Job summary

Alstom in Zurich is seeking a VIE / Student within the Site Quality team to apply quality management and continuous improvement in a cutting-edge field. You’ll support quality assurance activities, performance monitoring, documentation, problem-solving and data-driven improvements across Engineering, Supplier Quality, Project Management and Operations.

Specifically you’ll back Service Business in PRQSM activities, PQMPs, quality dashboards, audits and process compliance in an international

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
Fluency in English (mandatory). German is a plus.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IRIS) is a plus.
Lean Six Sigma training or exposure is appreciated.

Responsibilities

Support the preparation, update, and monitoring of Project Quality Management Plans (PQMP).
Assist in coordinating project quality deliverables and action plans.
Participate in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving using 8D, QRQC and FMEA.
Contribute to quality improvement projects aimed at reducing Cost of Non-Quality (CoNQ).
Develop and maintain quality dashboards and performance reports.
Handle NCR process in service.
Support internal quality audits and process compliance assessments.
