Job summary

Alstom in Zürich, Switzerland, invites a VIE student to join the Site Quality team and drive the deployment and continuous improvement of the QMS on site. You will collaborate with the Site QMS Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with ISO9001/IRIS and external requirements.

This role focuses on supporting audits, KPI monitoring, documentation control, and driving corrective actions, with an emphasis on hands-on learning in a global industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Initial experience (internship or academic project) in Quality, Engineering, or Operations.
• Understanding of ISO9001 and IRIS standards.
• Interest in industrial or railway environments.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment and governance of QMS processes on site.
• Participate in internal audits and audit follow-up actions.
• Assist in monitoring KPIs related to QMS performance.
• Help manage QMS documentation and updates.
• Support root cause analysis and improvement actions.
• Coordinate process reviews and quality management reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align with quality standards.
