Novartis AG in Stein, Switzerland, is seeking a part-time Quality Control Specialist I to support analytical laboratories. You will maintain and qualify equipment, ensuring readiness for use, while collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing and cross-functional teams in a GMP environment.

The role requires a degree in Chemistry/Biology/Pharmacy or related field, plus lab experience and GMP awareness. German fluency and basic English are expected.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Essential Requirements

• Education as Analyst, degree or vocational training in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
• First experience in a laboratory environment, preferably within a regulated industry.
• Basic understanding of GMP/GxP practices or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent German and basic English skills.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in Quality Control or analytical testing.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 53,550.00 - 76,500.00 - 99,450.00 CHF Annual

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
