Job summary

Gi Group Switzerland is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Logistic Specialist - Raw Materials to join a leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology site in Visp, Valais. The role focuses on compliant receipt, qualification, release, and supplier management of raw materials within GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' confirmed experience in Quality Assurance within pharma/biotech.
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming raw material verification per GMP procedures and quality standards.
• Manage qualification and release of raw materials within manufacturing processes and LIMS.
• Establish, maintain, and monitor approved raw material suppliers and quality systems.
• Review supplier change notifications and quality alerts.
• Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and change controls.
• Monitor KPIs for raw material qualification and release activities.
• Ensure accurate documentation and data management.
• Escalate critical quality issues and compliance risks timely.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QC, Supply Chain and suppliers to maintain operations.
• Support continuous improvement in raw material management and supplier quality.
