Job summary

Haleon plc. in Nyon is seeking a QC Analyst/Scientist Intern to join our QC raw materials laboratory team for a 6-month internship.

You will assist with automating colorimetric titrations, internalize testing, prepare samples, document per GMP, and maintain 5S in the lab while developing fundamentals in analytical chemistry.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Basic understanding of analytical laboratory techniques.
• Able to communicate in English at a basic level.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Optrode technology for automated colorimetric titrations and generate analytical data.
• Internalize raw material testing by evaluating and optimizing analytical methods.
• Perform laboratory activities including sample preparation, testing and GMP-compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment through 5S practices.
• Support QC laboratory activities ensuring compliance with HSE and GMP requirements.

We are currently looking for a QC Analyst/Scientist Intern to join our Nyon site as a key member of the QC raw materials laboratory team.

Duration: 6 months

Your Role at Haleon:

• You will support the implementation of Optrode technology for automated colorimetric titrations and contribute to the generation of analytical data.
• You will participate in the internalization of raw material testing currently performed externally by evaluating and optimizing analytical methods.
• You will perform laboratory activities, including sample preparation, testing and documentation in accordance with GMP requirements.
• You will contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment through 5S practices.
• You will support QC laboratory activities ensuring compliance with HSE and GMP requirements.

What we expect from you:

• You are currently studying Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field.
• You have a basic understanding of analytical laboratory techniques, including titration principles.
• You are able to communicate in English at a basic level (A2 or above).
• You are curious, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• You are organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment.
