ABB in Schaffhausen is seeking a Production Supervisor - Prototype Construction to oversee prototype and sample construction, ensure timely material supply and coordinate with Development, Engineering, Production, Quality and SCM on site.

You will read technical drawings and BOMs, manage production documentation, apply Lean improvements, and drive continuous optimization in a hands-on role with strong cross‑functional teamwork. German fluency is required; English is an advantage.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical vocational training.
• 3–5 years of experience in an industrial production or engineering environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and bill of materials.
• Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP is an advantage.
• Good collaboration with multiple departments and strong communication.
• Fluent German; English skills are an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Planning, coordination and implementation of prototype and sample construction orders with Development, Engineering, Production, Quality and SCM.
• Management of production, work and process documentation as well as bill of materials and manufacturing documents.
• Material flow management: ensuring timely material availability for prototypes and pre-series, monitoring bottlenecks and initiating appropriate measures.
• Process optimization: planning and organization of workflows and continuous improvement according to Lean principles.
