Actalent is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to support manufacturing activities in a regulated production environment in Switzerland. The role focuses on coordinating technical changes, transferring new products to production, and driving continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates will have GMP experience, strong knowledge of production lines, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical training with a technical college entrance qualification, plus state-certified technician training in automation technology.
• Experience in assembly, testing, complaint handling, and repair of medical diagnostic devices.
• Proven experience transferring new products into production.
• Strong knowledge of production line design, material management, and mechatronic assemblies.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments, preferably medical devices.
• Demonstrated experience in process coordination and stakeholder management.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate technical changes, including planning, assessment, prioritization, implementation, and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and ensure timely completion through proactive communication.
• Create, maintain, and update specifications, test documentation, work instructions, BOMs and material master data.
• Ensure smooth execution of change control processes and provide training on relevant production documentation.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and production deadlines.
• Support development projects by coordinating materials and providing manufacturability feedback.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical changes, including planning, technical assessment, prioritization, implementation, and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and ensure their timely completion through proactive communication and follow-up.
• Create, maintain, and update specifications, test documentation, work instructions, material master data, and bills of materials.
• Ensure smooth execution of change control processes and provide training on relevant production documentation.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and production deadlines.
• Support development projects by coordinating materials, assisting with prototype and sample creation, and providing manufacturability feedback.

Requirements

• Completed technical training with a technical college entrance qualification, as well as further training as a state-certified technician in the field of technology and automation technology.
• Experience in assembly, testing, complaint handling, and repair processing of technical or medical diagnostic devices.
• Proven experience in transferring new products and projects into production.
• Strong knowledge of production line design, material management, and the coordination, construction, and repair of breadboards and functional models of complex mechatronic systems.
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment, preferably within the medical device industry.
• Demonstrated experience in process coordination, change management, and stakeholder management.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.

Nice to Have

• SAP knowledge.
• Experience in medical diagnostics or other regulated healthcare manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience in electronics, device assembly, or technical specialist roles.
