TalentCloud Group seeks a Development Engineer – Mechatronics & Embedded Systems in the Zürich region, offering hybrid work in a Swiss high‑tech environment. The role blends electronics, mechanical engineering and software to create demonstrators and prototype systems.

You will own projects from idea to working demonstrator, designing electromechanical prototypes, integrating electronics and firmware, and using 3D CAD and rapid prototyping to bring concepts to life.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Systems Engineering
• Practical electronics development experience
• Exposure to microcontrollers / embedded software / firmware
• Mechanical design and 3D CAD experience
• Experience with 3D printing or rapid prototyping
• Confidence building and troubleshooting physical systems
• Strong practical engineering and problem-solving ability
• Curiosity and willingness to learn technologies outside your core specialism

Aufgaben

• Take ownership of practical engineering projects from idea through to a working demonstrator
• Design and build electromechanical prototypes and experimental systems
• Integrate electronic components, microcontrollers and mechanical assemblies
• Develop and adapt embedded software/firmware for prototype applications
• Create mechanical parts and assemblies using 3D CAD
• Use 3D printing and rapid-manufacturing techniques for prototypes
• Select and integrate suitable components, interfaces and technologies
• Assemble, debug and test complete systems in the lab
• Run experiments to understand feasibility and performance
• Modify designs based on test results and feedback
• Collaborate with specialists from different disciplines to solve challenges
