Systems Engineer – Sensor Technology

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll operate at the intersection of systems engineering, mechatronics, electronics & physics, helping bring complex products from concept through to market.

Your Role

You'll take ownership at system level, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure products are robust, compliant and ready for real-world deployment:

• Define and develop system architectures for next-generation sensor products
• Plan & execute integration, verification & validation (IVVQ) activities
• Perform risk & failure analysis (FMEA) and drive mitigation strategies
• Lead/support certification & compliance activities (regulated environments)
• Collaborate with HW, SW, physics & product teams across the full development lifecycle

What You Bring

• 3+ years experience in Systems Engineering / Product Development / Mechatronics-type environments (Senior candidates with 15-20+ years of experience are also encouraged to apply).
• Experience in regulated industries (MedTech, Automotiv, Industrial) – essential
• Strong background in system design, integration & validation
• Exposure to certification, compliance or technical documentation
• Experience with sensor technologies or complex embedded systems is a plus
• Structured, analytical mindset with strong communication skills

German is a plus, not mandatory
