Zusammenfassung

Beyond Gravity in Zurich is seeking a System Engineer Mechatronics to own and develop sophisticated spacecraft mechatronic systems. You will join a 10-engineer team and collaborate with design, test and electrical engineers to deliver reliable hardware for satellites and missions.

You have MSc in relevant field and at least 3 years hands-on experience; you turn designs into hardware, manage production and test challenges, and drive quality, cost and schedules in an industrial setting.

Qualifikationen

• Masters degree in a relevant engineering field (mechatronics, mechanical or aerospace).
• At least 3 years' experience in demanding mechatronics applications.

Aufgaben

• Be the technical responsible for one of our mechatronic spacecraft systems—from solar array drives to antenna pointing mechanisms or dampers.
• Lead a technical project team from analysis to testing, electrical engineering, design and materials.
• Coordinate with the project team to assess customer needs, generate ideas, optimize solutions and deliver on quality, time and cost.
• Prepare component specifications and work with suppliers.
• Support production and test activities and evaluate results.
• Establish and review complex technical documentation and data packs.
• Support and negotiate with customers in regular technical meetings and reviews.
