Job summary

Michael Page Switzerland is seeking a senior Quality Lead to craft and manage quality strategies for large-scale construction projects in Zurich. You will mentor the onsite quality team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure Right First Time delivery across construction, engineering, HSE, planning, and commissioning functions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of quality management on large-scale construction, engineering, industrial, data centre, or infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record leading quality teams on complex projects.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, construction methodologies, commissioning activities, and project delivery.
• Experience developing quality systems, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate teams and drive accountability.
• Strategic thinker balancing long-term objectives with day-to-day project delivery.
• Proficiency in common project management, reporting, and document management tools.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Successful Applicant

• Proven track record of successfully leading quality teams on complex projects.

Nice to Have

• Professional certifications in Quality Management, Construction Management, or Project Management.
• Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher).
• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.
• Membership of relevant professional engineering or quality organizations.
