Try&Hire is seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager in Zürich to oversee projects through design, fabrication, and installation across energy infrastructure. You will coordinate with sales, engineering teams, and external partners to ensure timelines, costs, and quality meet client requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in civil engineering project management, proficiency with AutoCAD/Tekla/SCIA, and strong knowledge of Eurocodes and EN 1090. English is mandatory; German is a plus.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (2D and 3D AutoCAD) and knowledge of Eurocodes, AISC, EN 1090.

You manage structural engineering projects for energy infrastructure throughout their lifecycle, from design to fabrication and on-site installation.

Your tasks

• Manage structural engineering projects from sales support and design to fabrication and installation
• Take technical and commercial responsibility for compliance with standards, timelines, costs and quality
• Collaborate with sales, project management, engineering teams and customers on requirements
• Act as interface between project engineering and structural engineering disciplines
• Lead and coordinate engineering activities with international teams and external partners
• Oversee supply chain activities for procurement and fabrication of steel structures and platforms
• Review engineering deliverables and resolve technical and quality issues

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in technical project management within civil engineering
• Experience with steel structures, industrial plants, substations or energy infrastructure
• Proficiency in CAD tools (2D and 3D AutoCAD)
• Understanding of structural design standards and building codes such as Eurocodes, AISC, EN 1090
• Professional proficiency in English required; German is an advantage

Conditions

• Workload: 80-100 %
• Option of a permanent position after the assignment if both sides want it
