Offer Description

The Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (D-ITET; https://ee.ethz.ch/) at ETH Zürich invites applications for a faculty position. The successful candidate will lead a research and teaching program in areas such as power electronics, drive/machine systems, device integration, with applications in mobility, renewable energies, storage systems, advanced electrical machines, smart cities, or digital infrastructure.

Laboratory space for hardware development and testing is available. The research focus will be defined by the candidate but should complement existing groups within the 'Energy' research area at D-ITET.

Candidates must be committed to innovative teaching at bachelor’s and master’s levels, with courses taught in German or English for undergraduates and in English for graduates.

Assistant professorships aim to foster early-career scientists. The appointment level depends on qualifications, with consideration also given to candidates at the associate/full-professor level with extensive experience.
