Job summary

Breitling in La Chaux-de-Fonds seeks a Production Synergy Project Intern for a 6-month mission to harmonize two workshops and explore shared resources. You will map workflows, quantify improvements, and prepare a management-ready recommendation on a potential integrated line and streamlined production order.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field, plus academic or internship experience in industrial engineering, production or process improvement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Academic or internship experience in industrial engineering, production, supply chain or process improvement.
• Strong project management, planning and stakeholder alignment skills.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to write procedures and formalize standards.
• Familiarity with lean tools like VSM, line balancing, takt time, bottleneck analysis.
• Knowledge of quality tools and ERP systems (SAP or similar).
• French fluent with good English; willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Build common ways of working between two workshops and identify harmonization opportunities.
• Assess benefits of resource pooling and shareable standards using production data.
• Map current and target line organization and quantify resource needs.
• Develop a management presentation with recommended changes and risks.
