Job summary

Faulhaber SA in Croglio, Ticino, Switzerland is seeking a Production Shift Leader to supervise the assembly production department, organize daily production execution, scheduling and training, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will drive product and process quality, solve internal technical issues, and apply lean, continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, clean workplace and supporting team development.

Qualifications

• State-accredited technician certification in mechatronics, mechanics or electronics.
• Experience in leading people.
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
• Good English skills.
• Available for working in shifts.
• Organizational sense, punctuality, precision and strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Experience in project management and toolmaking are desirable.
• Exposure to Lean tools and methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product and process quality as well as production output while meeting deadlines.
• Perform problem-solving to develop corrective actions for internal technical issues of Customer claims.
• Apply continuous improvement experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Support the professional development of employees, considering their qualifications, aptitudes, potential, and operational requirements.

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

Ensure for the area of responsibility that orders are delivered in Quality, in Quantity and in Time by providing direct supervision within his/her own field of experience
