Job summary

Liebherr Machines Bulle SA invites a Process Engineer (m/f/x) to establish timing standards (REFA & MTM) and work directly on the shop floor to analyse assembly and machining processes. You will set realistic target standard times and drive improvements to reduce production cycle times.

In a cross-functional environment, you will map the value stream with shop floor teams, train operators and managers on the new standards, and document processes to ensure continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical/industrial or production engineering.
• At least 2 years of time studies experience (REFA) and implementing continuous improvement projects.
• Proficient in manufacturing principles and tools: 5S, VSM, Kaizen, Standard Work, DMAIC.
• Additional training in Six Sigma (Black Belt) or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong data analysis skills with Excel and Power BI or Minitab.
• Fluent in French and very good English (B2).

Process Engineer (m/f/x) Methods-Time Measurement (REFA & MTM)

Your responsibilities

• Establish timing standards (REFA and MTM)

• Work directly on the shop floor to analyse assembly and machining processes

• Set realistic target standard times

• Make suggestions for improvements to reduce production cycle times

• Carry out multi-point analyses to identify waste and propose concrete improvements

• Map the value stream (VSM) in collaboration with shop floor teams

• Train and support operators and managers in adopting the new standards and methods

• Document processes to ensure operational continuity and knowledge transfer

Your profile

• You have a higher education qualification (Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or HES) in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or as a production engineer.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in time studies (such as REFA methods) and implementing continuous improvement projects.
• You are proficient in Manufacturing principles and associated tools: 5S, VSM, Kaizen, Standard Work, DMAIC, etc.
• Additional training in Management, Six Sigma ( /Black Belt), or an equivalent qualification is a significant advantage.
• You are skilled in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, and proficient with data analysis software (e.g., Power BI, Minitab).
• You are fluent in French and have a very good knowledge of English (B2)
• You are rigorous, methodical, and analytical, demonstrating autonomy as well as excellent team spirit.
• You can work effectively in a cross-functional environment, interacting with production, methods, quality, and logistics departments.
• You possess a practical mindset and a genuine interest in hands-on work, aiming to understand operational realities and propose concrete solutions
