LHH is assisting a leading global biotechnology client in the Lucerne area to hire a Production Operator II (m/f/d) for a state-of-the-art biologics manufacturing facility in Schachen.

In this hands-on role, you will support Weigh & Dispense, Solution Supply, USP and DSP operations in GMP cleanrooms, perform sampling, equipment setup, documentation, and ensure compliant production.

Qualifikationen

• Technical or scientific vocational training (Biotechnology, Chemistry, Laboratory Technician, Chemical Operator or similar).
• Minimum 3 years of GMP manufacturing experience in biotech or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong GDP and ALCOA+ understanding.

Client Description

For one of our clients, a leading global biotechnology company located in the greater Lucerne area, we are currently seeking a Production Operator II (m/f/d) to join a state-of-the-art biologics manufacturing facility in Schachen. This innovative manufacturing site specialises in the development and production of biologic drug substances for clinical programmes and technology innovation initiatives. About The Role

We are looking for a motivated Production Operator (m/f/d) to support manufacturing activities within Weigh & Dispense, Solution Supply, Upstream Processing (USP), and Downstream Processing (DSP) operations. In this hands-on role, you will work within GMP-regulated cleanroom environments, supporting manufacturing processes, equipment preparation, material handling, sampling activities, and production documentation. You will play an important role in maintaining compliance, operational readiness, and manufacturing excellence while ensuring products are manufactured according to quality standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform routine operator activities within Weigh & Dispense (W&D) and Solution Supply areas.


• Support operational activities within USP and DSP manufacturing areas.


• Execute sampling activities according to approved sampling plans, SOPs, and batch records.


• Support equipment setup, preparation, and line clearance activities.


• Assist with assembly and disassembly of single-use systems and process equipment.


• Support equipment cleaning activities and ensure manufacturing room readiness.


• Perform and support washer and autoclave activities following validated procedures.


• Support calibration and routine maintenance activities.


• Support material staging, transfers, inspection, and inventory checks.


• Accurately complete GMP documentation, batch records, logbooks, and electronic systems.


• Identify and escape deviations, safety observations, and abnormal situations.


• Support audits, inspections, and internal walkthroughs as required.

Your Profile

• Technical or scientific vocational training (Biotechnology, Chemistry, Laboratory Technician, Chemical Operator or similar).


• Minimum 3 years of GMP manufacturing experience, preferably in biotech or pharmaceutical environments.


• Strong understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ALCOA+ principles.


• Experience working in cleanroom environments.


• Hands‑on experience with biotech equipment, including single‑use and stainless‑steel systems.


• Experience in sampling, material handling, and GMP documentation.


• High attention to detail and strong compliance mindset.


• Professional communication skills in German and English.
