Job summary

Work Selection AG in Switzerland invites a Product Safety Specialist - EH&S Data Migration for a 7-month assignment in Rotkreuz/Basel. You will support a Global Data Migration Project moving Chemical Legislation data from SAP EHSM to EHSM S4 HANA.

We seek someone with hands-on data management, regulatory knowledge, and experience with Tableau dashboards and Snowflake. English fluency is essential; German is a plus. On-site work with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field with chemistry and data management focus.
• Experience managing complex data in medical device or high-tech manufacturing, in product safety.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations (REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, TSCA, POP, Packaging Directive).
• Expertise migrating compliance data with strict data integrity and governance.
• Experience with Tableau dashboards and Snowflake data pipelines.
• Experience with Material Declaration Data Management Systems (SAP EH&S/M or equivalents).
• Experience with Python, RPA, VBA, SAP GUI Scripting, and AI tools.
• Familiarity with waterfall and agile project management.
• Ability to plan, track tasks, and document work; strong collaboration.
• Excellent English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Global Data Migration Project migrating chemical data from SAP EHSM to EHSM S4 HANA.
• Drive modernization of chemical data model for seamless migration.
• Ensure global environmental regulatory compliance for instruments, packaging.
• Prepare load files and perform post-load verification with automation tooling.
• Promote automation and optimize manual processes; generate automated reports.
• Contribute to project meetings with insights and SME input.
• Use project management tools to monitor health and milestones.
