Gi Life Sciences Basel is seeking a Product Safety Specialist (m/f/d) for EH&S data migration to SAP S/4HANA. Location options include Basel or Rotkreuz, with 80-100% workload and a hybrid on-site model (minimum 3 days on-site).

You will manage migration of EH&S and regulatory data, ensure compliance with global environmental rules, and drive automation and data governance across the project. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field with data management focus.
• Experience with EH&S, data migration, or compliance in regulated industries.
• Knowledge of major environmental regulations (REACH, RoHS, TSCA, Prop 65).
• Proven ability to migrate sensitive datasets with data quality and governance.

For our client, a leading global healthcare company, we are currently looking for a

Product Safety Specialist (m/f/d) – EH&S Data Migration

General Information:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 31.05.2027 (Extension possible)
• Workload: 80-100 %
• Location: Basel or Rotkreuz, Switzerland
• Home Office: Possible; minimum 3 days per week on-site
• Travel: Approximately 5% for Workshops

Your Responsibilities

• Support the migration of EH&S and chemical compliance data from SAP EHSM to SAP S/4HANA.
• Transform and harmonize legacy chemical data models into S/4HANA-compatible structures.
• Ensure compliance with global environmental regulations and sustainability requirements for diagnostics products and packaging.
• Prepare, validate, and verify migration data while ensuring data quality, integrity, and governance.
• Drive process optimization through automation, mass data loads, and automated reporting solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert in project meetings and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables using established project management approaches.

Your Profile

• Degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Material Sciences, Data/Information Sciences, or a related field with a strong focus on chemistry and data management.
• Experience managing EH&S, material declaration, product stewardship, or similar compliance-related data within regulated industries such as medical devices, electronics, automotive, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of global environmental regulations, including REACH, RoHS, TSCA, California Proposition 65, POP, Conflict Minerals, and Packaging Directive requirements.
• Proven experience migrating regulatory, chemical compliance, or similar sensitive datasets while ensuring data quality, integrity, and governance.
• Hands-on experience with Material Declaration Management Systems (e.g. SAP EH&S/EHSM), as well as data platforms and visualization tools such as Snowflake and Tableau.
• Experience with automation and digital solutions, including Python, VBA, RPA, SAP GUI Scripting, and AI-supported tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, solid project management understanding, ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, and fluent English; German is considered an advantage.
