Job summary

Flexsis is seeking a Product Safety Specialist in Basel or Rotkreuz, Switzerland, to lead the migration of chemical legislation data to a new SAP S/4HANA EH&S platform. You will ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance and sustainability throughout the product lifecycle for diagnostics instruments and packaging.

The role requires strong data management and regulatory knowledge, with a focus on global environmental regulations. German is a plus; English is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Material Sciences, Data/Info Sciences or related field with strong chemistry/data management
• Experience managing EH&S/product safety or material declaration data in high-tech manufacturing
• Knowledge of environmental regulations (REACH, RoHS, Prop. 65, TSCA, POP, Conflict Minerals, Packaging Directive) and material composition in instruments/devices
• Experience migrating compliance data with high data integrity and governance
• Experience with SAP EH&S(M) or equivalent, plus Tableau/Snowflake data pipelines

Responsibilities

• Support global migration of chemical legislation data from SAP EHSM to SAP S/4HANA EH&S
• Transform legacy data structures to enable accurate migration
• Ensure regulatory compliance for instruments, consumables and packaging across jurisdictions
• Prepare data load files and perform post-migration verification using automation/tools
• Improve efficiency by automating tasks and enabling automated report generation
• Provide subject-matter updates in meetings and monitor milestones with project tools
