Job summary

Smallpdf is seeking a Product Manager for our core tools in Zurich. You will own the individual tools end to end, shaping the upload, processing, output quality and download experiences, while collaborating with SEO, growth and marketing to drive traffic and adoption.

You will lead with data, run experiments, and align engineering, design, and other product teams to deliver fast, user-friendly AI-powered features. This hybrid role is based in Zurich with a talented, global team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management.
• Hands-on A/B testing experience on a product with real traffic.
• AI in daily work: workflows, analysis, prototyping, research.
• Experience defining need & quality for an AI feature.
• Comfortable talking with engineers about trade-offs, speed, errors and estimations.
• Dynamic and hands-on decision making based on data.
• Ability to run user research and bring learnings into decisions.
• Commercially minded: understanding feature value before build.

Responsibilities

• Own the individual tools end to end: upload experience, processing, output quality, download.
• Collaborate with SEO, SEM and growth teams on reach and positioning.
• Turn AI search and LLMs into an acquisition channel with tracked traffic.
• Ship AI features with a clear process for accuracy, cost and quality.
• Design, monitor and analyze experiments on millions of sessions; iterate or kill based on results.
• Lead user research and be the voice of the user in decisions.
• Set strategy and roadmap with business goals, including cost and outcome metrics.
• Align engineering, design, SEO, growth and marketing on what ships and why.
• Lead without authority and present plans to leadership.
