Job summary

Wallee Group AG in Winterthur is seeking a Product Line Manager to own the full lifecycle of a payments product line, from concept to end-of-life, with portfolio strategy and vertical market focus. You will align hardware/firmware generations, engage with suppliers, define launch plans, and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Support to drive compliant, market-driven products.

Fluency in English and German is expected, with the ability to translate vertical requirements into engineering

Qualifications

Proven product management experience in fintech/payments or hardware-enabled software.
Familiarity with payment certification standards (PCI, EMV) is a plus.
Experience analyzing markets, competitors, and customer needs.
Strong problem-solving and customer-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and negotiation with internal/external stakeholders.
Fluent in English and German.

Responsibilities

Drive full lifecycle & strategy from concept to decommissioning with clear launch criteria and metrics.
Optimize portfolio and prevent overlap using structured variant views and roadmaps.
Build capacity-aligned roadmaps with quarterly or SAFe planning.
Translate vertical requirements into engineering language and run trend scanning.
Lead go-to-market plans, pricing, training, and cross-functional alignment.
Manage suppliers, partnerships, SLAs, and risk mitigation.
