Job summary

Wallee Group AG in Winterthur seeks a Product Line Manager to own the full lifecycle of a payment product line—from concept to end-of-life—with strategic portfolio and roadmap responsibilities.

You will align market needs with engineering, manage hardware/firmware generations, coordinate GTM plans across Sales, Marketing and Support, and oversee suppliers and certification labs, ensuring regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in product management, ideally with portfolio or product line ownership in fintech, payments, or hardware-enabled software.
• Strong understanding of payment certification and compliance topics (PCI, EMV) is a plus.
• Experience in market research, competitor analysis, and translating requirements for engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive full lifecycle & strategy from concept to decommissioning; define launch criteria and success metrics.
• Optimize portfolio with variant tracking and prioritization to avoid overlap/cannibalization.
• Build capacity-synced roadmaps with quarterly or SAFe planning, balancing run-the-business updates and growth initiatives.
• Champion vertical expertise; translate requirements and lead trend research and customer feedback synthesis.
• Lead go-to-market & sales enablement; define launch plans and coordinate across Sales, Marketing, and Support.
• Manage suppliers & ecosystems; onboard partners, monitor SLAs, negotiate contracts, and mitigate risk.
