Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, is seeking a Manager, Procurement CCPM & CE, to lead Capital Construction and Capital Equipment procurement at the site. This on-site role oversees sourcing, contracts, and supplier performance to deliver project value and site investment.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Property Services, and regional teams to drive cost, risk and schedule outcomes, while upholding J&J Credo and Safety standards across all procurement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Science or related field.
• Minimum five years procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.
• Experience with A&E, Construction Management, Automation, Commissioning & Qualification, and Capital Equipment suppliers desirable.
• Significant contracting experience and subcontractor management.
• Working knowledge of SIA 118 contracts essential.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, supplier relationship management, sourcing, category management, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to work with engineering, finance, quality, EHS, and procurement partners in complex environments.
• Excellent English; German language capability is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to ~20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead category strategies for Capital Construction, Capital Equipment and related CAPEX categories.
• Manage medium- to high-complexity spend with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contract execution, and supplier performance improvement.
• Support CCFS strategy deployment and global procurement programmes.
• Partner with leaders across E&PS, GET, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, EHS, and Procurement.
• Drive data-driven continuous improvement in procurement processes.
