The Procurement Functional SME will be responsible for the end-to-end design and readiness of the future GCC procurement processes ensuring strong alignment between the retained organisation, the existing GBSO landscape, and the ongoing ERP transformation programme.
Acting as the functional anchor for Procurement within the broader GBS transformation, the role will translate Design Authority principles into fit-for-purpose GCC procurement processes within the defined in-scope areas.
This role is primarily based on site. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. We offer flexibility to work remotely for no more than 20% of your time. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, in line with business needs.
Lead the design of GCC Source-to-Pay (S2P) procurement processes, ensuring alignment with global procurement standards, policies, and ERP templates.
Define future-state operating models and foster collaboration between Procurement, GBSO, ERP teams, business stakeholders, and governance bodies.
Drive procurement design workshops and ensure procurement requirements are embedded in cross-functional decisions and transformation initiatives.
Review, validate, and govern procurement process documentation, workflows, SOPs, and AI-generated outputs to ensure quality and operational readiness.
Support transition and service readiness by ensuring effective controls, hand-offs, training materials, and Day-1 operational capability.
Establish and monitor service performance frameworks, including SLAs, KPIs, risk management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
Identify and champion automation, digital enablement, and standardized best practices to deliver scalable and efficient procurement operations.
