Zusammenfassung

Swisslinx in Basel is seeking an entry-level Purchase-to-Pay Assistant to support purchasing activities across internal business areas. You will review requisitions, create and process POs, check quotations and approvals, and ensure contract coverage.

Ideal candidates are highly organized with strong German and English, attention to detail, and basic MS Office skills. Prior purchasing experience is not required; internships or up to two years in related fields are beneficial.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Law, Business Administration, Real Estate, Facilities Management or a comparable field; alternatively, a relevant commercial diploma or other further education
• Professional working proficiency in German, ideally at B2/C1 level
• Good command of English
• Strong attention to detail and a careful, structured approach to work
• Ability to manage several requests and priorities simultaneously
• Confident communication skills and a service-oriented attitude
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Genuine interest in procurement and motivation to develop in this area

• Reviewing standard contractual terms and escalating exceptions

• Maintaining accurate procurement and financial data
• Following up with internal stakeholders when information is incomplete
• Responding to purchasing-related questions from different business areas
• Supporting the team with other Purchase-to-Pay activities as required
