Job summary

Partners Group invites applications for an Internship in the Fundraising / Business Development Team (Client Solutions) in Baar, Switzerland. You will support relationship managers, prepare client materials, and help develop new business with Swiss institutional clients.

The role requires a recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance/economics/business, internship experience in private markets or related fields, and strong presentation and communication skills in English and German.

Qualifications

• Recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business or a related field
• Previous internship experience in private markets, consulting or investment banking
• Strong problem-solving skills, a client-focused mindset and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Confidence in communicating with colleagues and clients at all levels
• Excellent attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as AI tools
• Availability to start on 1 January 2027 for six months

Responsibilities

• Support client relationship managers in preparing meetings and due diligence sessions, including bespoke presentations, mandate proposals and investment proposals
• Prepare tailored responses to client requests and performance updates across private markets
• Coordinate with teams across the firm to gather information and developments across asset classes
• Produce written market updates and summaries of investment activity
• Coordinate input for requests for proposals (RFPs)
• Participate in market research, outreach and the preparation of client meetings and events
