Job summary

responsAbility is seeking an Intern in Fundraising, Investor Relations & Business Development to gain hands-on experience in private markets fundraising in Switzerland. You will support fundraising initiatives, research prospective investors, and assist in creating investor presentations and reports.

The role focuses on building experience in capital formation, CRM processes and collaboration with diverse internal teams, with an emphasis on AI-driven improvements across the investor journey.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in private markets, fundraising, investor relations and impact investing.
• Initial practical experience in a relevant field is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, research and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Interest in technology and AI applications.
• Excellent English skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Highly motivated, proactive and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Curious, resourceful and solutions-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising initiatives across different investment strategies and throughout the full fundraising cycle
• Research and identify prospective investors across asset classes, strategies and geographies
• Support with investor outreach, pipeline management and CRM maintenance
• Assist with DDQs, RFPs and other investor due diligence requests
• Prepare investor presentations, fundraising materials and management reports
• Coordinate investor meetings, follow-ups and collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Support key projects to improve fundraising processes and explore AI-driven solutions across the investor journey
• Collaborate closely with Investor Relations, Investments, Product Management, Executive Management and the CEO
