Role Summary

CloudBees is seeking a Principal Product Manager to define and lead the next generation of AI-powered capabilities across our product portfolio. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence and software delivery – ideal for someone passionate about pushing the boundaries of developer productivity and intelligent automation.

In this role, you'll shape the strategy and roadmap for integrating cutting-edge predictive AI and agentic AI product features that accelerate, augment, and transform the software delivery experience. You’ll also combine your deep technical knowledge with sharp business acumen and customer empathy to build strong business cases for new AI investments, ensuring that solutions meet user needs and deliver measurable, scalable impact.

What You’ll Do

As with any fast-growing company, day-to-day responsibilities will span the entire product life cycle, delivery pipeline and include deep interaction with customers, sales, marketing, customer support, finance, legal, and engineering.

• Drive product roadmap for AI-powered capabilities across the CloudBees product offerings.
• Drive product development from concept through launch – rapidly iterating in a fast-moving, customer-centric environment.
• Design and evolve developer-facing interfaces, APIs, and workflows for intelligent and Agentic AI-based systems.
• Deeply understand user needs, corporate objectives, and industry trends to inform prioritization and decision-making.
• Translate insights into clear product specs with defined goals and measurable success metrics.
• Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, support, and leadership to deliver impactful features and experiences.
• Stay ahead of AI trends and the competitive landscape to identify strategic opportunities for differentiation.
• Foster a vibrant developer ecosystem through community engagement, hackathons, and strategic partnerships.
• Act as a thought leader internally and externally on the role of AI in modern software delivery.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of product management experience, with a proven record of launching technically complex B2B or platform products.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in AI/ML product development, including predictive AI, generative AI, and intelligent agents
• Demonstrated success in building developer-centric tools or platforms.
• A customer-first mindset with experience gathering insights through direct engagement and translating needs into delightful product solutions.
• Understanding of software development and delivery lifecycles (SDLC, Agile), and experience working closely with engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
• A mix of strategic thinking and roll-up-your-sleeves execution to move fast and iterate effectively.
• Startup mentality: comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful, and energized by fast-paced environments.
