Qualifications

• Completed training as a Polymechanic, CNC Machinist, Machining Technician, or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in CNC milling is an advantage.
• Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with CNC control systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up, operation and monitoring of CNC milling machines (3-axis/5-axis).
• Program and optimise CNC programmes (Siemens).
• Manufacture individual parts and small to medium production batches based on technical drawings.
• Select, prepare and change tools.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure dimensional and geometric accuracy.
• Perform quality inspections using standard measuring equipment.
• Maintain and service machines and troubleshoot minor faults.
• Comply with safety, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement processes.
