Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Experience using lathe, milling machine, drill press, or cut off saw preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to read measurements with calipers and other tools.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
• Prolonged standing and bending; lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment such as lathes and mills.
• Manufacturer parts for routed orders.
• Record measurements per customer requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair company equipment as able.
• Maintain records for measurement and maintenance.
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
• Communicate with operators from other shifts.
• Maintain and secure work tools and area.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
