Job summary

Mks Pamp Group in Switzerland seeks a Precious Metal Control Manager to ensure all precious metal on site is accounted for with full balance integrity. Reporting to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, you will act as second line of control, challenging custody, movements, and inventory procedures across receipt, storage, transfers, and dispatch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in industrial engineering, chemical engineering, or a similar field.
• Proven inventory control and process improvement experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with control design, inventory reconciliation, and process governance.
• Fluency in English; Italian language strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently assure the site metal balance across the full cycle for each metal.
• Verify fine-weight tracking, assay, and integrity of weighing/assay controls.
• Review and validate the control framework for custody, movements, and inventory tracking.
• Drive data quality and migration from ad hoc tools to proper systems.
• Test movements, adjustments, and verify third-party and customer-owned metal positions.
• Oversee reconciliation between physical stock, system records and metal accounts.
• Report findings to senior management and support audits.
• Plan and validate semi-annual physical counts.
