Centalion is seeking a Risk Officer for Base Metals to join the Risk team in Geneva. You will lead research and analysis, produce high‑quality digital tools, and support decision making for the base metals desk.

You will be responsible for daily risk reporting, monitor market data, and collaborate with IT, Finance and Front Office to improve processes and ensure accurate risk capture. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

Competenze

• University degree in Computing, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or Finance.
• Excellent Excel and VBA skills.
• Knowledge of Access and SQL Server.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar risk role within commodity trading.

Mansioni

• Daily reporting of P&L, exposures, VaR and explanations.
• Provide analytical support to traders on base metals.
• Develop and improve daily risk procedures and management reports.
• Coordinate with IT, Operations, Credit Risk, Finance and Front Office.
• Translate monthly trading results into accounting figures.
• Perform month-end and year-end reconciliations with finance and auditors.
