Zusammenfassung

Swissgrid is seeking a Power Systems Expert to support the development and design of Switzerland’s transmission grid. You will provide technical leadership on integrating technologies like batteries, data centres, and HVDC, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires at least five years in the energy sector, deep grid knowledge, and excellent German and good English; French is a plus. The position is based in Aarau or Prilly with flexible hours and home-work options.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in energy supply sector or industry in a specialist/technical role.
• Deep knowledge of energy system technologies (converters, batteries, HVDC).
• Understanding of transmission grid operation and its elements.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to build consensus with partners.

Aufgaben

• Develop requirements for integrating new technologies into Switzerland’s HV grid.
• Coordinate activities within Swissgrid and with partners and customers.
• Provide technical expertise across the company and support system design.
• Offer specialist support to development projects and studies.
• Identify trends in grid tech and derive actions for future operations.
• Represent Swissgrid in national/international bodies and with stakeholders.
• Ensure ongoing development of key regulations and industry documents.
