Zusammenfassung

Hyperscale Power GmbH in Switzerland is seeking a Grid Systems Engineer to design and develop the medium-voltage grid interconnection for our power conversion platform, from prototype to production. You will collaborate with the Power Electronics, Firmware and Test & Field teams, and partners to ensure grid-code compliance and reliable interconnection across markets.

Qualifikationen

• BSc/MSc in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience in medium-voltage grid interconnection or utility-scale power electronics preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to design and run tests and document results.
• Team-oriented with ability to engage with customers/partners on technical requirements.
• Fluent in English; German beneficial but not required.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop the medium-voltage grid interconnection system and related equipment; prepare installation, operation and maintenance specifications.
• Analyze equipment data and conduct experimental tests on grid-interface hardware under realistic conditions.
• Assess feasibility of new equipment or modifications for different grid levels and markets.
• Prototype construction and checkout of grid-interconnection subsystems for Alpha milestones.
• Compile operational data and documentation for grid-tied deployments.
• Ensure compliance with grid codes and interconnection standards; support certification with partners (UL, TÜV, IEC 62477).
• Collaborate with Power Electronics and Firmware teams on protection, fault ride-through, and control strategies for grid-tied operation.
• Respond to customer/partner requests regarding grid interconnection requirements.
• Assist scaling the grid-interface design across markets as we move to production.
