Swissgrid is seeking an experienced Grid Development and Studies professional in Switzerland (Aarau or Prilly). You will model the power system for long-term planning, focus on voltage control and stability, and collaborate with national and international partners to advance grid development.

The Grid Development and Studies team (eight people) is responsible for grid development studies. We work with Swiss distribution system operators, power plant operators and other transmission system operators. We are responsible for model management and grid analyses for long-term planning. As part of this work, we assess applications for connection to the transmission grid and conduct the studies required to analyse the system’s stability and dynamic behaviour in connection with planned projects.
