Swissgrid is seeking an experienced Grid Development and Studies professional in Switzerland (Aarau or Prilly). You will model the power system for long-term planning, focus on voltage control and stability, and collaborate with national and international partners to advance grid development.

You will lead studies, verify external work, and develop automation tools while representing Swissgrid in working groups. A strong background in electrical networks and scripting is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of voltage stability, grid modeling and dynamic analyses.
• Experience with power system calculations and market models.

Aufgaben

• Model the electrical power system for dynamic analyses (conventional and power electronics-based equipment).
• Maintain and extend network models for planning and stability studies.
• Conduct grid studies (load flow, short-circuit, RMS/EMT) focused on voltage stability.
