Hitachi Energy Ltd in Switzerland is seeking a Project Control Engineer to join the Power Converter Solutions unit in Turgi. You will plan and implement control engineering tasks across projects, interfacing with customers, sub-suppliers, and internal teams.

You will define hardware interfaces, develop control software, and participate in testing, commissioning, and on-site training. Willingness to travel ~20% and fluency in English and German are required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Strong knowledge of process control and software design (e.g. OLC, CLC, Protection, HMI).

Aufgaben

• Plan and execute control engineering aspects of projects, including hardware and software concepts, specifications, and documentation.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between customers, sub-suppliers, and internal teams.
• Define and evaluate hardware interfaces, including electrical components and design reviews.
• Develop and implement control software, including testing on real-time simulation platforms.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and customer training on-site.
• Provide technical support during project execution and after delivery.
• Support the sales team in the preparation of technical concepts and tender documentation.
• Collaborate with control, system, and mechanical engineering teams and project management.
