Zusammenfassung

ETH Zurich seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow / Process Engineer to expand MacEtch testing capabilities for high‑aspect‑ratio silicon microstructures. Work under supervision within the ABSOLUTE project, collaborating with academic and industrial partners to advance X‑ray imaging components.

The role involves optimizing MacEtch parameters, defect analysis, metrology development, and disseminating results through publications and conferences.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Strong experience in semiconductor processing and cleanroom environments.
• Hands‑on photolithography, SEM, and silicon etching/MEMS fabrication preferred.

Aufgaben

• Fabricate and test MacEtch processes on silicon wafers.
• Characterize structures with optical microscopy, SEM, and profilometry.
• Document procedures and results in a traceable way.
• Publish findings and contribute to project deliverables.
• Present results at conferences and collaborations.
