Position

Join us to contribute your technical expertise to our Tendering Team. You will take on responsibility for preparing technical tenders for international power plant projects.

Analyse customer requirements during the tendering phase and prepare the technical bidding information:

1. Prepare budgetary costing of the entire GT mechanical scope consisting of the thermal block and all auxiliary systems.
2. Monitor and manage the budgetary cost for material and engineering.
3. Develop, shape and optimize offer concepts.
4. Calculate gas turbine performance & emission data and check fuel compositions.
5. Clarify details requested in customer specifications.
6. Participate in negotiations & follow up tenders through to contractual completion.

Requirements

Your profile

1. Higher education or degree in mechanical engineering.
2. Several years of experience in GT or GT auxiliaries R&D, project engineering, project management or sales within the gas turbine industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of power plants technology such as GT operation, GT mechanical systems, construction and / or commissioning of gas turbines.
4. Reliable, flexible and enthusiastic team player.
5. Ability to work well under pressure and in challenging situations.
6. Excellent command of English; German is an advantage, and further knowledge of Italian would be an asset.
7. Be prepared to frequently travel to Genova and / or to customer offices globally (20%-30% of the time).
